WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF POWDER COATING OVER LIQUID FINISHES?

A uniform finish without any runs, even with a thicker coating.
A more durable finish against corrosion, impact and chemicals.
A more environmentally friendly finish that produces less VOC’s (Volitile Organic Compounds) and uses no solvents. We’re also able to recover and reuse powder.
The electrostatic application ensures complete uniform coverage even on complex shapes.

WHAT COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE?

There are a huge variety of colours available and there are also many different gloss levels and textures available. We stock over 300 colours but if we don’t stock the colour you require, we are confident we will be able to source it.

CAN YOU POWDER COAT PARTS WITH AN EXISTING FINISH?

Yes, we can use our in house stripping or shot-blasting facilities to remove old coatings.

HOW LONG WILL MY PARTS TAKE TO PROCESS?

Our usual turnaround is 3-5 working days. We offer 24 hour turnaround at an additional charge and can even offer same day turnaround although this requires special arrangement – please contact us for details.

CAN YOU MASK AREAS I WANT LEFT WITHOUT COATING?

Yes we offer masking, from simple threads through to much more complicated masking, including 2 colour finishes.

CAN YOU COLLECT AND DELIVER MY PARTS?

Yes we have a collection and delivery service for local customers. Any charge will be advised to you on request. We also have an efficient and reliable courier for deliveries further afield.

HOW THICK WILL THE PAINTED FINISH BE?

The finish will be between 60 and 90 microns.

HOW WILL MY WORK BE PRICED?

Several variables affect the pricing of work; size and gauge of items, pretreatment method, price of powder and packing method. We work hard to achieve the best price possible whilst maintaining our high standards.
